Riverside park with nice little kids playground, dog off leash area, BBQ and good toilet block. Having a BBQ somewhere apart from on the side of the access road would be good. BBQ that we used was covered in birfshit that I had to clean off first. Suggest bringing a rag if you're intending to use. Good spot to put a kayak in.
Good off leash area for dogs to explore and paddle.
lots of big trees near the carpark so heaps of shade around. its also the starting area for the Petrie Park Run so gets very busy Saturday mornings. grounds very well kept by council folks. paths are well maintained. there are several dog enclosures as well in the area. amenities block nearby clean and tidy . has a few play areas for kids to climb etc

Gorgeous, well maintained parkland reserve edged by the pine river. Dog off leash area is huge. Clean, well stocked amenities.
